ABOUT ROOPKUND
TREK

Roopkund Trek is widely regarded as one of India’s most iconic and sought-after high-altitude treks. Popularly known as the “Mystery Lake,” Roopkund is a glacial lake situated in Uttarakhand within the Trishul massif. The lake gained global attention due to the ancient human skeletons found along its edges, adding an element of intrigue to its natural beauty. Located at an altitude of approximately 15,700 feet, Roopkund is encircled by snow-laden peaks and glaciers, offering trekkers a truly dramatic Himalayan experience. The trek route traverses the breathtaking Ali and Bedni Bugyals—twin alpine meadows known for their vast green landscapes.
